Innovation in Correctional Education Award
CEA is a public advocacy group that promotes education in corrections. CEA Wisconsin’s newest award is also its most dynamic, evolving award. We wants to encourage adaptation and growth in correctional education. CEA Wisconsin has developed this award to recognize, honor, and promote unique and innovative approaches to correctional education. Selected nominations may enjoy a variety of benefits:
(1) membership and/or financial incentives
(2) contributing to a catalog of effective practices
(3) professional recognition and engagement
No CEA Membership Requirement
All professionals impacting correctional education are eligible. Unique and innovative practices, activities, or programs are not identical everywhere, it is impossible to predict what professional or combination of professionals may have this impact. Nominations are continuously accepted. Selected nominations will be recognized at our yearly conference and training event and in our bimonthly newsletter. CEA Wisconsin board members are not eligible to win this award. Please complete the form above to be considered for CEA Wisconsin's Innovation in Correctional Education Award. Individuals, groups, and teams are encouraged to nominate themselves or others working to make a difference in correctional education.
Lead Innovation and Change
Selected nominations may be eligible for individual or group CEA membership awards. In addition, selected nominations may be awarded funding (one-time stipends) of up to $500 to support innovative correctional education practices, activities, or programs. All nominations/nominees may receive a free, professional article write-up that will be included in our one of our bimonthly newsletters. We appreciate your desire to lead innovation and change in correctional education.
